Additionally your instructor will introduce new approaches for selected core problems in the production flow, for example balancing takt times and determining lot sizes, methodically developed just for your production.

Furthermore the extensions towards value stream management will illustrate how the future state developed by value stream design can be organizational implemented in your factory and afterwards can be continually adapted and improved.

Moreover you will experience first-hand how the methods of value stream design can be integrated into the classical factory planning methods and how its principles can be transferred to variant production and make-to-order production.
In particular you will receive decisive information on the new VDI Guideline 5200 for factory planning.
